Welcome to Drink & Milk, a mobile application developed and operated by FDM Digital GmbH, Stampfenbachstrasse 115, 8006 Zürich, Switzerland (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Drink & Milk app (“App”), you (“you” or “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the App.
1. Eligibility and Age Restrictions
- You must be at least 18 years old to use this App
- The App is intended only for individuals of legal drinking age in their country of residence
- By using the App, you confirm that you meet these age requirements
2. Purpose and Medical Disclaimer
The App provides an alcohol clearance estimation tool to assist breastfeeding individuals in understanding when it may be safe to breastfeed after alcohol consumption.

- This App is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice
- Calculations are estimates based on general algorithms and may not reflect your individual physiology
- Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider regarding your health and breastfeeding decisions
- We are not responsible for any health outcomes resulting from use of this App
3. User Accounts and Access
- The App can be used without creating an account
- Optional account creation enables data synchronization and backup features
- If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
4. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide (weight, age, etc.)
- You must use the App responsibly and not rely solely on its recommendations
- You are responsible for complying with local laws regarding alcohol consumption
- You must not use the App if you have alcohol dependency issues
5. Data and Privacy
We collect minimal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy below. Key points:
- Anonymous usage analytics via Amplitude Analytics
- Personal data stored locally on your device
- Optional account creation for data backup and synchronization
- Data export functionality available for personal records
6. Premium Purchase Options
Drink & Milk offers two ways to access premium features:
Option 1: Monthly Subscription
- Auto-renewable monthly subscription
- 7-day free trial for new subscribers
- Cancel anytime
Option 2: Lifetime Access
- One-time purchase
- Lifetime access to all premium features
- No recurring charges
- Best value (equivalent to 3+ months of subscription)
Premium Features Include:
- Advanced analytics and insights
- Ad-free experience
- Data export functionality (PDF, CSV, JSON)
- Backup and restore functionality
Monthly Subscription Terms
Pricing
- Monthly Price, depending on your platform (iOS/Android) and your configured country on your device
- Free Trial for recurring subscription: 7-day free trial for new subscribers
- Currency: Prices displayed in your local currency based on your region
- Platform: Available on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play)
Free Trial Terms
- New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial
- You will be automatically charged after the 7-day trial ends unless you cancel before the trial expires
- Only one free trial per account (per Apple ID or Google Account)
- If you’ve previously subscribed, you are not eligible for another free trial
- Trial availability may vary by platform and region
Automatic Renewal
For iOS users (Apple App Store):
- Your subscription automatically renews each month
- You must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your current period to avoid being charged
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
For Android users (Google Play):
- Your subscription automatically renews each month
- You must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your current period to avoid being charged
- Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period

Cancel anytime through your App Store account settings
How to cancel:
- Open Settings on your iOS device
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap “Subscriptions”
- Select “Drink & Milk Premium”
- Tap “Cancel Subscription”

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
No refunds for unused portions of your subscription period
If you cancel during the free trial, you retain access until the trial ends

Family Sharing
iOS/Apple:
- Subscriptions and lifetime purchases do not support Apple Family Sharing
- Each user requires their own individual purchase
Android/Google:
- Subscriptions and lifetime purchases do not support Google Play Family Library
- Each user requires their own individual purchase
Subscription Restoration
iOS users:
- Reinstalling the app? Tap “Restore Purchase” to regain access
- Must use the same Apple ID as original purchase
- Works on all your iOS devices signed in with the same Apple ID
Android users:
- Reinstalling the app? Tap “Restore Purchase” to regain access
- Must use the same Google Account as original purchase
- Works on all your Android devices signed in with the same Google Account
Data After Cancellation (Subscription Only)
- Your historical data remains accessible after subscription cancellation
- Premium features become unavailable after subscription ends
- Resubscribing restores premium feature access immediately
- All data is retained according to our Privacy Policy
Price Changes
- We may change subscription prices with 30 days advance notice
- Price changes don’t affect active subscriptions until the next renewal period
- You will be notified before any price increase
- Lifetime purchases are never affected by price changes (one-time payment remains fixed)

- We don’t store or have access to your payment information

Refund Policy
iOS/Apple:
- All sales are final unless otherwise required by law

Cross-Platform Purchases

- If you use the app on both platforms, you will need to purchase on each platform separately
- Your drink history and data can be synced across platforms (if using the same app account), but premium access must be purchased on each platform

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: If I purchase on iPhone, will it work on my Android tablet?
A: No. Purchases are platform-specific. You would need to purchase separately on Android.
Q: Can I switch from monthly to lifetime?
A: Yes. Cancel your monthly subscription, then purchase the lifetime option.
Q: What happens if I cancel my subscription during the trial?
A: You’ll retain access until the trial ends, then premium features will be disabled. You won’t be charged.
Q: How do I get a refund?
A: Contact Apple Support (iOS) or Google Play Support (Android). We cannot process refunds directly.
Q: Will my data be deleted if I cancel?
A: No. Your historical data is retained. Only premium features are disabled.
Q: Can I share my subscription with family members?
A: No. Each user needs their own individual subscription or lifetime purchase.
Q: What if the price increases?
A: Active subscribers are notified 30 days in advance. Your current rate continues until your next renewal.
Q: Is the lifetime purchase really lifetime?
A: Yes. One payment gives you permanent access to all current premium features.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, algorithms, design elements, and materials within the App are the property of FDM Digital GmbH and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees regarding:
- Accuracy of alcohol clearance calculations
- Suitability for your individual circumstances
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FDM Digital GmbH shall not be liable for any damages resulting from:
- Use of or reliance on the App’s recommendations
- Health outcomes related to breastfeeding or alcohol consumption decisions
- Technical failures or data loss
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Zürich, Switzerland.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted in the App. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
